indian premier league 2025 match list

The twenty18th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL tournament will take place in 2025 during March 22 through May 25. Ten teams will participate. The opening match of the season brought together the Kolkata Knight Riders champions against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

The league is divided into two groups:

Group A:

• Kolkata Knight Riders

• Royal Challengers Bengaluru

• Rajasthan Royals

• Chennai Super Kings

• Punjab Kings

Group B:

• Sunrisers Hyderabad

• Delhi Capitals

• Gujarat Titans

• Mumbai Indians

• Lucknow Super Giants

All teams compete in 14 matches throughout the group stage of competition. The playoff brackets of Qualifier 1 and Eliminator and Qualifier 2 and the Final start with the top four teams according to points earned. The playoffs span from May 20 to 25 2025 yet Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will occur at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad while Qualifier 2 along with the Final will take place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
